Alexey Ruchay received his M.Sc. in computer security from Chelyabinsk State University, Chelyabinsk, Russia, in 2008 and his Ph.D. in physics and mathematics from Chelyabinsk State University, Chelyabinsk, Russia, in 2012. His Ph.D. research focused on biometric authentication. He is now the head of the Department of Computer Security and Applied Algebra at Chelyabinsk State University, Chelyabinsk, Russia, and an associate professor in the Department of Information Security at South Ural State University (National Research University), Chelyabinsk, Russia. Ruchay’s research interests include security modeling and analysis, biometric authentication, deep learning, and computer vision.
