Dongmin Liu is a Professor and the Director of the Molecular Nutrition Laboratory in the Department of Human Nutrition at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA, USA. He received his PhD in Nutritional Physiology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University Virginia Tech in 2000 and completed his postdoctoral studies at the University of Iowa Medical College. He is a member of the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, and American Society of Nutrition. His research is focused on identifying and characterizing phytochemicals for the prevention and treatment of obesity, diabetes, and vascular disease.
