Roberto de la Herrán Moreno is Professor of the Department of Genetics at the University of Granada. He has a degree in Biology from the University of Salamanca (1987/1992) and a PhD in Biology from the University of Granada (1998). He has been working in genetics and genomics of species with an interest in aquaculture through the characterization of molecular markers, evolutionary and population analysis and the development of molecular tools for parasite detection.
