Dr. Ahmad Gholami

Dr. Ahmad Gholami is an Associate Professor at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, working on emerging topics in pharmaceutical biotechnology, nanobiotechnology, antimicrobial agents, modern materials, gene delivery, the modern formulation of probiotics, and precision medicines. Dr. Gholami received his associate degree in PharmD, Ph.D., and MBA in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, and Pharmacoeconomics. Since then, he has served in academia and industry in Shiraz, Iran. Dr. Gholami is actively cooperating with international academic journals as an editor. In 2021, he solely received the prestigious Distinguished Researcher Award while supervising several doctorate, PharmD, and MSc theses. Dr. Gholami is currently Chairman of the Biotechnology Research Center and has organized more than 50 international conferences to date. Dr. Gholami also currently holds the role of Head of the University Counseling Office in guiding Iranian and international students at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Shiraz, Iran.
