Prof. Dr. Jinyao Lin graduated from the School of Geography and Planning, Sun Yat-sen University, in 2017 with a Ph.D. in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems. He studied at Dartmouth College in the United States as a visiting scholar. He is an Associate Professor and a Master's Supervisor at the School of Geography and Remote Sensing, Guangzhou University, Guangzhou, China. His research interests mainly focus on multi-source spatiotemporal big data and remote sensing applications, integration of GIS and artificial intelligence, and multi-scale land use change simulation.
