I am Yu Tong, a faculty member at the College of Animal Science and Technology, Henan Agricultural University. I received my Ph.D. degree from the Livestock Embryo Engineering Team at Northwest A&F University. My research mainly focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying animal reproductive physiology and embryonic engineering, as well as the development of livestock embryo engineering and reproductive regulation technologies. To date, I have led one national-level research project, four provincial/ministerial-level projects, and one university–enterprise collaborative project, and have participated in two national-level projects and five provincial/ministerial-level projects. I have published more than 20 peer-reviewed research articles in leading journals in the field, including the Journal of Biological Chemistry, Journal of Dairy Science, Biology of Reproduction, International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, and Theriogenology. I have been granted one national invention patent and currently serve as a reviewer for Zoological Research.
