Nam Deuk Kim is a Professor of Pharmacy at the College of Pharmacy, Pusan National University, Republic of Korea. He completed his Ph.D. degree in Human Cancer Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States. His research interests are cancer biology with a focus on molecular mechanisms of cell death such as apoptosis and autophagy, cell cycle regulation, hypoxia-induced gene regulation, the development of chemopreventive agents with synthetic and natural compounds, and the development of nutraceuticals for myodifferentiation and muscle strengthening. He has published more than 230 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as editorial board member of several reputed journals.
