Prof. JIN-WOO OH received his B.S. (2003), M.S. (2005), and Ph.D. (2009) in Physical Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Hanyang University. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Chemicalgineering, Hanyang University (2009–2010) and the Department of Bioengineering, UC Berkeley, USA (2010–2012). He was an assistant professor (2012–2016) and Associate professor (2016–2021) at the Department of Nanoenergy Engineering, Pusan National University. Currently, he is a professor at the Department of Nanoenergy Engineering, Pusan National University(2021–present), a director at the Center for Phage Meta-Materials (Future Materials Discovery Business) (2017–present), and a director at the Institute of BIT convergence Technology (2018–present). In his lab, he designed and synthesized nano-bio materials through chemical and biological approaches to develop advanced functional materials. Currently, he is interested in the fabrication of 2-D and 3-D nano-structures which can be applied to various kinds of devices such as color sensors, piezoelectric devices, and transistors.
