Junfeng Xu, Deputy Director of Research and Cooperation Department, Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Deputy Director of Quality and Safety Supervision, Inspection and Testing Centre for Agricultural Products and Processed Products (Hangzhou), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. He is mainly engaged in research on GMO rapid detection technology, GMO environmental safety evaluation and prevention and control strategy, and detection and control technology of major crop seed-borne diseases. He is responsible for more than 30 projects, including the National Transgenic Special Project, the 948 Project of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Major Project of Zhejiang Province, and the Provincial Fund. He has received 3 provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards; he has published more than 80 papers in domestic and international academic journals, such as Plant Journal, Plant Biotechnology Journal, Environmental Pollution, Analytica Chimica Acta, Food Chemistry, and Food Control. He has published more than 80 papers, including 42 SCI-indexed papers (11 SCI papers with IF>5.0), and is currently a reviewer for Plant Journal, Plos one, Oil Crop, etc. He has written 4 monographs and participated in 2 editions, presided over the formulation of 12 national standards and participated in 8, and obtained 10 national invention patents and 8 software copyrights.
