Dr. Morena Galešić Divić is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy, University of Split, Croatia. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering (Water Resources), focused on conservative solute transport in river estuaries. Her research addresses physical drivers of coastal and estuarine water quality, with emphasis on transport and dispersion processes and the integration of numerical modelling with field observations and remote sensing. She has contributed to process-based screening tools for assessing dilution capacity and contaminant persistence in coastal waters and participates in national and international projects related to coastal monitoring and environmental pressures.
