Pål Lagestad is a professor in physical education and sport in the Faculty of Education, Art, and Culture at the Nord University in Levanger, Norway. Lagestad is also the leader of research group Physical Education, Activity, and Health. The doctoral thesis of Lagestad was carried out at the Norwegian Police Academy. Lagestad's research topics are related to physical activity and health, well-being in physical education, and physical activity measurements with accelerometers and statistics. Lagestad teaches students in physical education and sport science.
