Prof. Dr. Yao-Chuan Tsai received his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from National Chiao Tung University in 2004. He obtained his Master’s degree and completed his Ph.D. studies in mechanical engineering at the National Taiwan University in 2006 and 2011, respectively. From 2011 to 2014, he did his postdoctoral training at Tohoku University. From 2014 to 2016, he was a Researcher at MEMS-CORE Company Ltd., Sendai. In 2016, he was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Bio-Industrial Mechatronics Engineering, National Chung Hsing University, where he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2021. His areas of expertise are MEMS fabrication process, micro-machining, mechatronics engineering, and novel materials development and artificial intelligence applications.
