Background: The sacha inchi plant contains nutrients that are beneficial for health, cosmetics, and food products, so it has the potential to be developed economically. The development of sacha inchi involves agricultural technology, which includes the treatment of fertilizer types that need to be studied in maintaining production and productivity. Objectives: This study aims to analyze the optimal type of fertilizer treatment on crop yields and the influence of farmers’ perceptions of socio-economic factors in the development of sacha inchi plants so that an optimal sacha inchi development prediction model is formed. Methods: The partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) method was applied in the study to analyze the effect of perception of socio-economic factors, and the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) method was applied to predict the optimal fertilizer treatment model. Findings: The results of the PLS-SEM analysis showed that farmers’ perceptions of sacha inchi cultivation considered economic factors at a percentage of 50.66% and social factors at a percentage of 49.33% and had a linear relationship with the economic development of sacha inchi with a value of 0.832, although simultaneously, 77.7% was influenced by economic factors and social factors, and 22.3% was influenced outside these two factors. The ANFIS prediction results reinforced the results of the analysis, which stated that fertilizer treatment based on sacha inchi plant waste in the form of seed shells produced greater harvest weight compared with goat manure fertilizer. If farmers wanted to use a combination fertilizer, the used composition was 80% sacha inchi seed shell waste and 20% goat manure fertilizer or other materials; if the used composition was otherwise, the yield tended to decrease. This research contributes to the theory of production sustainability by integrating the optimal fertilization factor as a decision support unit in the model. Practically, this study recommends the application of fertilizer from the basic ingredients of sacha inchi seed shells to create a sustainable sacha inchi processing industry that ensures production stability, strengthens the agribusiness ecosystem, and develops the economic potential of sacha inchi and reduces the operational costs of sacha inchi farming by reducing the cost of purchasing fertilizer and supporting the circular economy model.

Soybeans (Glycine max L.) play an essential role in meeting the nutritional needs of Indonesians. However, national soybean production cannot meet domestic needs. Increasing the planting frequency during the rainy season is an effort to increase the national soybean production. Planting soybeans in the rainy season will reduce the yield and growth of soybeans, so cultivation technology is needed to increase soybean yields in the rainy season, one of which is the use of biofertilizers and cultivars. This study aimed to analyze a suitable combination of cultivation and biofertilizer doses to increase soybean production during the rainy season. Selection of the right cultivar combination and biofertilizer dosage will increase yields. The research was conducted from 2021 to 2023 during the rainy season in Majalengka Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia. The cultivation technology that provides stable soybean yields was analyzed using a GGE biplot. The results of this research show that the appearance of soybean yields varies every year, and there is an interaction between the application of cultivation technology and the year of planting. Cultivation technologies that show a stable appearance are Anjasmoro variety + 20 kg h−1 dose biofertilizer, Dega 1 variety + 0 kg h−1 dose biofertilizer and Dega 1 variety + 10 kg h−1 dose of biofertilizer. These results can be used as a reference for farmers planting soybeans during the rainy season.

Introduction: Efforts to increase the production of breakthrough cultivation innovations that can increase the productivity of wetlands/rainy seasons that are environmentally friendly, among others, through the use of biological fertilizers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of adaptive cultivars and optimal biofertilizers to soybean cultivation on suboptimal land. This research will be conducted in the Experimental area of Cicurug Village from February to May 2021. Methods: research uses experimental methods in the field. The environmental design used is factorial RAK (Randomized Block Design). The first factor is cultivar and the second factor is biological fertilizer, including: K1 = Grobogan, K2 = Anjasmoro and K3 = Deja 2, the second factor is Biological Fertilizer (P) which consists of 4 levels, namely: P0 = 0 g/kg, P1 = 50 g/kg, P2 = 100 g/kg and P3 = 150 g/kg. The research variables observed were the agronomic and physiological responses of plants. Results: The results showed that the application of cultivars had an effect on the growth of soybeans grown on suboptimal land. The Anjasmoro cultivar gives better yields than other cultivars. In the application of biological fertilizers, the dose weight of 150 kg/ha was able to provide the most seeds/plot compared to other doses. Conclusion: The application of biological fertilizers and cultivars can increase soybean productivity in suboptimal land.

In order to meet national soybean needs, soybean production must be increased. The use of quality seeds in terms of viability and vigor is one way to increase production results. Meanwhile, soybean seed production at the farmer level is carried out the same as soybean production for consumption, whereas seeds harvested for seeds must have special criteria such as water content, uniformity of seed size, and seeds must be free from disease contamination. One way to improve seed quality is to plant soybeans in a controlled environment. The technology developed in this study is the hydroponic system. The purpose of this study was to observe the morphological appearance of six superior soybean cultivars with hydroponic planting. This study was conducted in a Green House with a DFT hydroponic system installation. The cultivars tested were Grobogan, Anjasmoro, Deja 2, Dering 1, Gepak Kuning, and Dega 1. The results showed that each cultivar showed a different appearance in each observed variable. The Gepak Kuning and Dering 1 cultivars showed good performance on average in plant height, stem diameter, and seed weight. These cultivars have shown their ability to adapt to hydroponic planting systems to improve the quality of soybean seeds.
