Alessandro Dalpiaz is Associate Professor of Biopharmaceutics at the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Ferrara University, Italy. He was a research fellow at the Leiden/Amsterdam Centre for Drug Research of Leiden University, The Netherlands. He is author of more than 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts. His research topics include in vitro models and in vivo studies of drug transport, drug stability studies in physiologic fluids and prodrugs, and micro- and nano-delivery systems for improving the therapeutic pattern of drugs.
