René Díaz-Pichardo holds a PhD in Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico. He got a Habilitation to Direct Research (HDR) from the Université de Paris-Saclay. He works as a professor and researcher at ICN Business School, in France. He participates as an associate researcher at the CEREFIGE research laboratory of the Université de Lorraine, France. He is also a visiting professor at the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico. His research interests are related to the sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises. He currently supervises doctoral students in Mexico, Spain, and France. His scientific work has been published in diverse journals, including the Journal of Business Ethics, the Journal of Business Research, Business Strategy and the Environment, and the Journal of Cleaner Production.
