Prof. Paulo Rogério B. A. Pereira received his graduation, M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Science Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa (IST/UL), Portugal, in 1991, 1994 and 2003, respectively. He is an assistant professor of computer networks related subjects at IST/UL, and a senior researcher at the Communication Networks laboratory of INESC-ID Lisbon. He has participated in several national and international research projects, including the IST European projects EuroNGI, EuroFGI, EuroNF, UbiSec&Sens, WSAN4CIP, and E-Balance. He has published about 60 scientific publications and is a senior member of IEEE. His research interests include delay-tolerant networks, wireless sensor networks, quality of service and network management.
