In view of the problems of high weed regeneration rate in traditional mechanical weeding and environmental risk in chemical weeding, a synergetic strategy of “mechanical damage + wound spraying mechanism” was proposed, and an intelligent weeding device combining synchronous cutting and spraying was designed to enhance the efficacy of herbicides and reduce their use. Focusing on the physical characteristics of weeds and the cutting mechanism, the analysis of the weed-cutting system and the force characteristics of the cutting tool were conducted. Key factors affecting cutting quality were identified, and their respective value ranges were determined. A targeted spraying system was developed, featuring a conical nozzle, DC diaphragm pump, and electromagnetic control valve. The Delta parallel manipulator, equipped with both the cutting tool and nozzle, was designed, and a kinematic model was established for both its forward and inverse movements. Genetic algorithms were applied to optimize structural parameters, aiming to ensure effective coverage of typical weed distribution areas within the working space. A simulated environment measurement was built to verify the motion accuracy of the manipulator. Field experiments demonstrated that the equipment achieved an 81.5% wound weeding rate on malignant weeds in the seedling stage at an operating speed of 0.6 m/s, with a seedling injury rate below 5%. These results validate the high efficiency of the integrated mechanical cutting and targeted spraying system, offering a reliable technical solution for green and intelligent weed control in agriculture. This study fills the blank of only focusing on recognition accuracy or weeding rate under a single weeding method, but lacks a cooperative weeding operation.
The range-extended sprayer can effectively balance the requirements of economy and power performance, which represents the development and transformation trend of intelligent plant protection machinery in the future. To more intuitively and reliably explore the energy variation rules of the range-extended sprayer under different energy management strategies (EMSs) and achieve optimal fuel economy, a co-simulation platform for energy management of the range-extended sprayer under multi-condition cyclic operation was established based on AVL-CRUISE and MATLAB Simulink. Meanwhile, a fuzzy control-based EMS optimized by the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm was proposed. Simulation results show that the comprehensive fuel consumption of the PSO-optimized fuzzy control EMS is 3.68 kg; compared with the conventional fuzzy control strategy, its fuel economy is improved by 4.90%, and by 8.23% compared with the multi-point power following strategy. Subsequently, an energy management test platform for the range-extended sprayer was built, and experimental verification was carried out. The platform test results indicate that the electricity difference between the platform test and the simulation test is 0.38%, and the fuel consumption difference is 1.6%, both within a reasonable range. This further verifies the reliability of the simulation platform for the improved energy management model and the feasibility of the proposed EMSs. The research content and results provide theoretical basis and technical support for the optimization of EMSs and the joint simulation method of energy management for range-extended sprayers.
In this paper, the hinge in the articulated structure is studied, the gap hinge is described as a nonlinear bilateral constraint, and the equivalent modeling and analysis of the hinge connection collision vibration are carried out based on the Lankarani–Nikravesh nonlinear contact force model. With the help of the method of nonlinear system dynamics analysis research, the Poincaré mapping of hinge joint collision vibration is constructed, the bifurcation diagram of the system with different parameters is solved, and the variation law of the system motion and the influence of parameters are analyzed by combining the time response diagram, phase diagram, Poincaré cross section diagram, and spectrum diagram of the typical motion of the system. The simulation results show that the system moves in a single degree of freedom and varies with parameters with multiplicative period bifurcation and rubbing edge bifurcation leading to chaos; the system’s periodic motion has shock state mutation and mirror jump transformation.
