Prof. Dr. Bin Xu is an Associate Professor and a Supervisor of Doctorate and Master's Candidates at the Department of Environmental Engineering, Tongji University. He received his Bachelor's degree and Master of Engineering from Tianjin University and his Ph.D. in Engineering from Texas A&M University - Kingsville. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research interests include understanding air pollutant transport dynamics, the improvement of air purification technology, the development of new air filter media, and advanced air filter R&D.
