Prof. Dr. Jun-Seob Kim is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Nano-Bioengineering, Incheon National University, Republic of Korea. He obtained his Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Biotechnology from Sungkyunkwan University in 2007, 2009 and 2013, respectively. He then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Sungkyunkwan University in Mach 2013–February 2014 and at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in March 2014–September 2016. From October 2016 to October 2017 he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Penn State University. He then served as a Principal Investigator at the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB) from November 2017 to February 2021. He joined the Incheon National University in March 2021. His research focus is on bacterial persistence, antibiotic resistance, microbial interactions, yeast biotechnology, and microbiome.
