Dr. Pallav Pokhrel received his MPH in Biostatistics/Epidemiology from the University of Southern California and a PhD in Preventive Medicine from the University of Southern California. He is a Professor at the University of Hawaiʻi Cancer Center, a Program Co-Leader, and a Full Member of Population Sciences in the Pacific Program at the University of Hawaiʻi Cancer Center. His research deals with reducing, through tobacco control, high adverse cancer health outcomes faced by vulnerable populations in Hawaiʻi and the Pacific.
