Effective monitoring of heart patients according to heart signals can save a huge amount of life. In the last decade, the classification and prediction of heart diseases according to ECG signals has gained great importance for patients and doctors. In this paper, the deep learning architecture with high accuracy and popularity has been proposed in recent years for the classification of Normal Sinus Rhythm, (NSR) Abnormal Arrhythmia (ARR) and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) ECG signals. The proposed architecture is based on Hybrid Alexnet-SVM (Support Vector Machine). 96 Arrhythmia, 30 CHF, 36 NSR signals are available in a total of 192 ECG signals. In order to demonstrate the classification performance of deep learning architectures, ARR, CHR and NSR signals are firstly classified by SVM, KNN algorithm, achieving 68.75% and 65.63% accuracy. The signals are then classified in their raw form with LSTM (Long Short Time Memory) with 90.67% accuracy. By obtaining the spectrograms of the signals, Hybrid Alexnet-SVM algorithm is applied to the images and 96.77% accuracy is obtained. The results show that with the proposed deep learning architecture, it classifies ECG signals with higher accuracy than conventional machine learning classifiers.

White blood cells (WBC), which form the basis of the immune system, protect the body from foreign invaders and infectious diseases. While the number and structural features of WBCs can provide important information about the health of people, the ratio of the subtypes of these cells and observable deformations are a good indicator in the diagnostic process. The recognition of cells of the type of lymphocytes, neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils and monocytes is critical. In this article, Deep Learning based Hybrid CNN (Convololutional Neural Network) model is proposed for classification of eosinophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, and neutrophils WBCs. The model presented is based on pretrained Alexnet and Googlenet architectures. The feature vector in the last pooling layer of both CNN architectures has been merged, and the resulting feature vector is classified by the Support Vector Machine. To determine the superiority of the proposed method, the classification was also performed and compared using pretrained Alexnet and Googlenet. Hybrid Alexnet-Googlenet-SVM model provides higher accuracy than pretrained Alexnet and Googlenet. The proposed method has been tested with WBC images from Kaggle and LISC database. Accuracy and F1-score were 99.73%, 0.99 and 98.23%, 0.98 for both data sets, respectively.

Pneumonia is a disease caused by inflammation of the lung tissue that is transmitted by various means, primarily bacteria. Early and accurate diagnosis is important in reducing the morbidity and mortality of the disease. The primary imaging method used for the diagnosis of pneumonia is lung x-ray. While typical imaging findings of pneumonia may be present on lung imaging, nonspecific images may be present. In addition, many health units may not have qualified personnel to perform this procedure or there may be errors in diagnoses made by traditional methods. For this reason, computer systems can be used to prevent error rates that may occur in traditional methods. Many methods have been developed to train data sets. In this article, a new model has been developed based on the layers of the ResNet50. The developed model was compared with the architectures InceptionV3, AlexNet, GoogleNet, ResNet50 and DenseNet201. In the developed model, the maximum accuracy rate was achieved as 97.22%. The model developed was followed by DenseNet201, ResNet50, InceptionV3, GoogleNet and AlexNet, respectively, according to their accuracy. With these developed models, the diagnosis of pneumonia can be made early and accurately, and the treatment management of the patient will be determined quickly.
