Dr. Alexander E. Berezin received his Ph.D. from Zaporozhye
State Medical University (Ukraine) in 1994. He is currently working as a Senior
Consultant, Lecturer, and Full Professor of Medicine at the State Medical
University of Zaporozhye (Ukraine). His research focuses on the fundamental
study of biological markers and the development of cardiovascular prevention
and rehabilitation. Based on this research and his training in heart failure, he
has received several awards and honors. He is a member of the Ukrainian
Cardiology Association and the Ukrainian Heart Failure Association, as well as
a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. He has published 1050 papers in
highly reputable journals, as well as 57 books and book chapters, and is serving
as a distinguished editorial board member.
