About Me
Venkat Gudivada received a PhD degree in computer science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Lafayette, LA, USA. He is currently the Chairperson and a Professor in the Department of Computer Science, East Carolina University. He has over 30 years of professional experience in both academia and industry. Prior to this, he was the Founding Chair and a Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (formerly Weisberg Division of Computer Science), Marshall University. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed research articles. His current research interests include data management, information retrieval, applied machine learning, and personalized learning.
