I am an agricultural and institutional economist working at the interface of research and policy on cooperatives, collective action, and governance in times of profound societal transitions. I am Director and Senior Researcher at the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AGRERI) of the Hellenic Agricultural Organization–Dimitra, Visiting Research Fellow at the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO), Germany, and a founding senior member of the Co-opAbility Institute. My research focuses on cooperative and collective action governance, the organizational and institutional foundations of resilience, and sustainability transitions across food, climate, and energy systems. Drawing on organizational economics, systems theory, and collective action theory, I combine theoretical development with participatory and transdisciplinary methods to examine how governance structures, ownership arrangements, and social capital shape the adaptive capacity of member-based organizations.
