Dr. Cuellar-Cruz is a Chemist with a PhD in Chemistry from the Institute for Science and Technology from San Luis Potosi (IPICYT), Mexico. She is an expert in biomineralization processes, protein biochemistry, protein crystallization and synchrotron radiation. Dr. Cuéllar-Cruz is a full Professor of Biology at the University of Guanajuato (Mexico). She has published more than 40 papers in specialized journals. Currently, she is the president of the Mexican Society of Synchrotron Light and Vice President of the Mexican Society of Crystallography.
