Prof. Daniele Passeri is an Associate Professor at the Department of Basic and Applied Sciences for Engineering, Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy. He graduated laude in Electronic Engineering in 2003 at the same university, where he also obtained a Ph.D. in Electromagnetism in 2007. He has taught Physics Electron Microscopy and Related Techniques at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the University of Rome Sapienza. As a research fellow, he has continuously collaborated in research in the field of nanotechnology, in particular dedicating himself to the development and application of microscopy and characterization techniques at the nanoscale. In particular, he has developed skills in the field of mechanical, electrical, and magnetic characterization of nanomaterials and nanocomposites, for applications ranging from the energy sector to the biomedical one.
