This paper addresses the event-triggered dynamic output feedback control for switched linear systems with frequent asynchronism. Different from existing work, which limits at most once switching during an inter-event interval, we adopt the average dwell time approach without limiting the minimum dwell time of each subsystem, and thus frequent switching is allowed to happen in an inter-event interval. Since the difficulty in acquiring the full information of system states, the dynamic output feedback controller is taken into account to stabilize the switched system. By employing a controller-mode-dependent Lyapunov functional, stability criterion is proposed for the resulting closed-loop system, based on which the dynamic output feedback controller together with the mode-dependent event-triggered mechanism is co-designed. Besides, the existence of the lower bound on inter-event intervals is attentively discussed, which gets rid of the Zeno behaviour. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated by numerical simulations.

This paper investigates the sampled-data control for a class of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy Markovian jump systems via a novel looped functional approach. By refining the fractionaldelayed state concept, the looped functional is established to include more sampling information of the intervals not only from x(t_k) to x(t) but also from x(t) to x(t_k+1), which would contribute to a reduction in the conservatism. Then a sufficient criterion is presented to ensure the stochastic stability of the resulting closed-loop system, based on which the sampled-data controller is further designed for the T-S fuzzy Markovian jump system under the influence of asynchronous premise variables. Finally, the obtained theorems are applied to a numerical example and a practical application to show the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.

This article investigates the problem of quantized sampled-data control for continuous-time switched Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy systems with the asynchronous phenomenon. First, considering that the system and controller modes could not be perfectly synchronized all the time, we study possible cases of mode mismatching by exploiting the average dwell time (ADT) switching strategy. Since the fact that a minimum dwell time of each subsystem is not required in the ADT switching rule, multiple system switching is allowed within one sampling interval, which overcomes the limitation of at most once switching during any sampling interval in existing works. Second, the asynchronous premise variables between the fuzzy system and fuzzy controller are taken into consideration in the quantized sampled-data control scheme. Then, by virtue of the Lyapunov function approach, we obtain sufficient conditions to guarantee that the asynchronously switched T–S fuzzy system is exponentially stable with quantized sampled-data input. Furthermore, the weighted $L_{2}$ -gain is discussed for the system under external disturbance, and an $H_{\infty }$ state feedback controller is correspondingly designed with prescribed disturbance attenuation. Finally, the validity and advantage of the proposed methods are illustrated by two examples.
