Dr. ir. Wim Ectors is assistant professor (tenure track) and IOF business developer at the Transportation Research Institute (IMOB) of Hasselt University, Belgium. As an IOF business developer, he is jointly responsible for the valorisation of IMOB's research results. Since 2023, as a part-time assistant professor, he approaches the valorisation concept from his own innovative research and innovation & valorisation-focused teaching activities. He manages and conducts research around innovation in the field of mobility, with a focus on machine learning applications such as LLMs, drones, and other innovations.
