I am a physical chemist with the primary interest in thermoresponsive polymers and materials related to regenerative medicine. I also have an extensive experience in atomic force microscopy studies of biological objects (proteins, DNA, lipids, collagen structures) and polymeric materials. Currently, I am a Leading Researcher at the Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Sechenov University (Moscow, Russia). I graduated from Moscow State University (Department of Chemistry) in 1994, with the physical chemistry as a specialty. In 2004, I received a PhD degree in Solid State Chemistry, my PhD thesis was dedicated to the photophysics and photochemistry of solid state porphyrins. I worked as a postdoctoral fellow at NIH, Bethesda, MD from 2005 to 2010, engaged in the biomedical applications of atomic force microscopy.
