Lyubomir Ivanov Todorov, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Statistics and Applied Mathematics, “D. A. Tsenov” Academy of Economics, Svishtov, Bulgaria. He is a former vice-rector for scientific research and staff development, former director of Education Quality Center, and former director of the Scientific Research Institute at “D. A. Tsenov” Academy of Economics. He is member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, Science and Expert Committee at National Statistical Institute (Bulgaria), and Editorial Board of “Statistika” Journal. He teaches students in Statistics, Econometrics, and Time Series Analysis and has research interests in the statistical analysis of business cycles, economic freedom and macroeconomic activities.
