Massimo Stella is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science at the University of Trento, Italy, and PI of the CogNosco Lab. His research combines cognitive data science, complex systems, network science, psychometrics, and human-centred artificial intelligence. He develops computational models for reconstructing knowledge, emotions, creativity, and psychological states from textual, and behavioural data. His work includes cognitive and multilayer networks, forma mentis networks, AI-based psychometrics, and the study of how large language models represent or influence human cognition.
