Full professor at the University of Siena, Director of the Department of Medical Biotechnologies. MSc (2002) and PhD (2004) from Siena University. Head of Department and Chair of Endodontics, Periodontology, Paediatric and Restorative Dentistry in Siena University. Dean of the School of Dental Medicine. Over the last 25 years he has published more than 300 papers on international Journals, and he has given more than 1000 lectures worldwide. Active member and President of SIDOC (Italian Society of Conservative Dentistry), active member of IAED (Italian Adademy of Esthetic Dentistry) and AIE (Italian Academy of Endidontics), academic member of SIE (Italian Society of Endodontics).
