Alberto Dominguez-Rodriguez is a Clinical Cardiologist at the Hospital Universitario de Canarias, Department of Cardiology, in Tenerife, Spain. He is the Director of the Cardiology Research Group of Hospital Universitario de Canarias. Currently, he is a Professor at the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidad Europea de Canarias. He received a PhD from the Universidad de La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain, 1998-2000. He won the Title of European Cardiologist (2004), is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (2005), and is an Expert Columnist at the Latin American Society for Scientific Information (2006). He has authored over 276 publications, with total citations of 3373 and an h-index of 33 (Scopus).
