Prof. Aly Mousaad Aly

Aly Mousaad Aly is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Louisiana State University (LSU). He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Louisiana. His research focuses on wind engineering, structural dynamics, and the resilience of infrastructure against extreme weather events. Dr. Aly is the founding director of the WISE (Windstorm Impact, Science, and Engineering) Research Lab at LSU. He has published extensively in leading journals and actively participates in professional organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers.
