Aurelio Bermúdez received the Ph. D. degree in computer science in 2004. He is currently an Associate Professor of computer architecture and organization with the Computing Systems Department of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (Spain). His research interests include dependability in high-speed interconnection networks, information processing in wireless sensor networks, and, more recently, unmanned air vehicles, air navigation systems, and air traffic management. He has contributed to more than 50 international publications on these topics, and he has participated in more than 20 competitive research projects.
