Xin Liu is an associate professor at Shandong University of Science and Technology. In 2007, she graduated with a Ph.D. in Cartography and Geographic Information Engineering from Shandong University of Science and Technology. In 2009, she became a postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese Academy of Surveying and Mapping. From 2009 to the present, she has been working at the School of Surveying and Mapping Science and Engineering of Shandong University of Science and Technology. She has won a second prize in the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award (Natural Science Award) of the Ministry of Education for Colleges and Universities; and a first prize and three second prizes in the Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology Progress Award of the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping and the State Administration of Surveying and Mapping. She has published more than 50 papers.
