Dr. Seong-Wook Lee is a full
Professor at Dankook University. He received a BSc and MSc from Seoul National
University and a PhD from Cornell University. He founded Rznomics Inc., an RNA-based
biopharmaceutical company, in 2017 and has served as President and CEO. His
areas of expertise include the development of RNAs as gene therapeutics and
diagnostics, especially developing RNAs for the treatment and prevention of
diverse intractable diseases, including genetic, infectious, degenerative, and
malignant diseases. He serves as an editorial board member of renowned
international journals, especially in nucleic acid gene therapy, including Nucleic
Acid Therapeutics and Molecular Therapy-Nucleic Acid. He served as President of
the Korean Society of Gene and Cell Therapy.
