Mónika Molnár is an Assistant Professor at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. She received her PhD from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Faculty of Chemical Technology and Biotechnology, Hungary in 2007. Her research interests include the development of environmental risk assessment methods and environmental toxicology tests; the development and application of microbiological methods; microbial communication, contaminants’ biodegradability; bioremediation of contaminated soil and sediment; biotechnologies for soil and groundwater remediation; and the development of innovative soil remediation and water treatment methods. She is co-author of 135 papers; the total number of citations of her papers is over 1800, with a Hirsch index (Google Scholar) of 24.
