In the era of fintech, businesses using technology other than traditional banks are providing financial services. Crowdfunding and peer-to-peer (P2P) lending are two of the most exciting financial innovations of the twenty-first century. In this paper, we use a bibliometric review and meta-analysis to understand the academic research on crowdfunding and P2P lending. Our findings show that the research on this topic has grown a lot in terms of publications since 2013 and the maximum mean total citations were observed in the year 2014. We provide the details about the most influential authors based on total citations, authors with the greatest number of publications, the most influential documents, significant journal sources, highest single country production, multiple country production, and important affiliations. We further apply the network analysis and visualisation techniques wherein we provide the details of the citation analysis of documents, co-citation analysis of authors, and co-occurrence analysis of author keywords. Finally, we provide the future directions of the research on this burgeoning topic.

Purpose: This paper aims to examine the effects of interest-free and interest-based monetary policy on inflation and unemployment rates for two groups of countries where in one group, interest-free monetary policy (IFMP) was pursued, while in the other group, interest-based monetary policy (IBMP) was followed. Design/methodology/approach: This study involves a sample of 23 developed countries divided into two groups. The authors measure economic performance by misery index (MI), and MI is calculated as unemployment rate plus inflation rate. A group of countries, where MI is lower, performs better compared to the other group where MI is relatively higher. Findings: The results reveal that in group of 12 countries where IFMP is adopted, the MI is lower and thus performs better compared to a group of countries where IBMP is pursued. Research limitations/implications: The findings of this study have profound implications for the policymakers and government leaders who look for a solution to maintain both low inflation and unemployment rates. The findings in this study clearly portray that such ideal situations can only be achieved by pursuing IFMP. No wonder the countries which have been historically pursuing IFMP such as Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, the Netherlands and Denmark have been able to contain both inflation and unemployment rates compared to their counterparts among the English-speaking countries. Originality/value: This is one of the most recent tests on the differences in economic performance between IFMP and IBMP. These results have significant value for policymakers and central bankers who have been struggling to maintain lower MI for decades.

Purpose: This study's main objective is to identify and analyze the main determinants of youth unemployment in Jordan. Design/Approach/Methodology: The study employs a Multinomial logistic regression model (MLM) to analyze the determinants of youth unemployment in Jordan using data based on the Jordan labor market panel survey (JLMPS) in 2016, which was conducted by the Department of Statistics (DOS). Findings: The study finds that youth employment in Jordan is influenced by gender, educational level, geographical location, and marital status. According to the youths covered by this study, male youth stand a better chance of being employed than the female counterpart. Therefore, special attention must be paid to integrating the youth and particularly females better into the labor market for increasing the prospect of their employment. Practical Implication: The results can be used to mitigate the problems of youth unemployment, especially female youth unemployment, in Jordan and other Arab countries. Policymakers must focus on certain constraints, such as mobility and cultural factors, as roadblocks that may cause relatively higher youth female unemployment. Originality/Value: This is one of the latest attempts to identify, investigate, and analyze the causes of youth unemployment in Jordan. The study adds to scholarly debate on youth unemployment's main determinants by giving evidence from a developing country. However, this study unveils a unique feature of youth unemployment in Jordan; this study will bridge the literature gap, especially for Jordan, and help improve overall youth unemployment.

The Digital Economy (DE) has significantly impacted the global economy. This paper presents a bibliometric analysis to explore the impact of digitalization on economic growth, covering literature from 2008 to 2024 sourced from the Scopus database. It aims to map the intellectual contours and evolution of research within economics, econometrics, finance, business, management, accounting, and environmental studies. The study identifies key themes, influential works, and authors by employing advanced data mining, visualization, and analytical techniques while highlighting theoretical and empirical underpinnings that connect digitalization with economic expansion. The analysis discerns a scholarly trajectory from the foundational role of digital technologies in economic development to a nuanced understanding of digitalization's interplay with sustainability and specific innovations like blockchain and Industry 4.0. The recent focus emphasizes integrating digital growth with sustainable development goals, indicating a shift towards examining the environmental impacts of digital advancements. This comprehensive overview charts the dynamic shifts in scholarly focus and underscores the significance of interdisciplinary approaches in navigating the complexities of digitalization's effects on economic growth, offering a roadmap for future research directions.
