Renee J Turner is the NRF Director of Neurosurgical Research and head of the Translational Neuropathology Laboratory within the School of Biomedicine at the University of Adelaide. Her research is focused on improving the translation of novel treatments and technologies from pre-clinical studies into the clinic, through the development and use of clinically-relevant models of stroke. She is actively involved in science communication and community outreach and has a long-standing affiliation with the Neurosurgical Research Foundation.
