Rafael M. Martins (Member, IEEE) is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Media Technology, Linnaeus University, Sweden. His Ph.D. research involved mainly the visual exploration of the quality of dimensionality reduction (DR) techniques, a topic he continues to investigate, in addition to other related research areas such as the interpretation of DR layouts and the application of DR techniques in different domains, including software engineering and digital humanities.
