My name is Hussein Daoud. I am an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the National University College of Technology, a role I have held since January 2023. Previously, I worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, Italy. I hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (2021) and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (2015), both from the American University of Beirut (AUB). Additionally, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Hashemite University, Jordan (2010). My research focuses on Experimental Fluid Dynamics, with a specialization in Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV). I apply this advanced visualization and measurement technique to study fluid flow for diverse applications, including biomedical engineering, renewable energy, aerodynamics, and ultrasound technologies.
