Dr. Abayomi Otebolaku holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Telecommunications) from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Portugal. He has contributed to several national and international research initiatives, including European Horizon 2020 projects such as Wise-IoT and SWARMs. Dr. Otebolaku actively serves on technical committees for various thematic conferences and is an editorial reviewer for multiple reputable academic journals. He was awarded both the INESC TEC doctoral research grant and the prestigious Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) full doctoral scholarship from the Portuguese government. His current research interests include Edge Intelligence, Mobile Data Management, IoT-driven Service Personalization, and Trustworthy AI/ML. He is a Senior Lecturer in Computing and a research-active member of the School of Computing and Digital Technologies at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU), United Kingdom. At SHU, he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate modules such as Distributed Programming & Technologies, Programming Concepts and Practice (Python), Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, and Data Analytics.
