I am a geriatrician and a clinician-scientist at National Geriatric Hospital, Hanoi, Vietnam as well as a visiting lecturer at Hanoi Medical University, Ha Noi, Vietnam. I am the deputy head of Palliative care department at National Geriatric Hospital. I have published more than 20 original papers, mainly in the field of gerontological research on the international journals. I am involved in a number of research projects, including the national program of screening of risk factors and prevention of falls for the elderly in the community, and studying the prevalence and risk factors of frailty, cognitive function, and depression in Vietnam. My ambition is to learn more about models of health care and non-communicable diseases for older people, as well as to learn and collaborate with experts on research.
