Dr. Peter Jarcuska is a Full Professor in the 2nd Dept of Internal Medicine, L Pasteur University Hospital and PJ Safarik University, Faculty of Medicine in Kosice, and Dean of PJ Safarik University Faculty of Medicine in Kosice. He received his Ph.D. in Internal Medicine at PJ Safarik University, Faculty of Medicine in Kosice in 2001. He became an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine in 2005 and a Full Professor of Internal Medicine in 2007. He is an Editorial Board member (only journals indexed in Web of Science) for World Journal of Hepatology, Clinical and Experimental Hepatology, and Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology and a Reviewer for more than 30 journals in WoS. His research includes general hepatology, NASH, primary biliary cholangitis, chronic viral hepatitis (elimination, treatment, and metabolic complication), complications of liver cirrhosis, and hepatocellular cancer.
