Dr. Xiaowei Ma is a researcher at the Key Laboratory of Tropical Fruit Biology of Ministry of Agriculture, South Subtropical Crops Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences, Zhanjiang, China. He is mainly engaged in scientific and technological management as well as research on the laws of mango fertilizer and water requirements and balanced formula fertilization technology of mangoes. He has published 15 scientific papers as the first author or corresponding author, including four papers included in SCI and one nationally reviewed publication (second finisher). He has presided over or participated in seven basic scientific research business expense projects of the Ministry of Agriculture, Guangdong Province, Hainan Province, and central scientific research institutes and participated in winning one China Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fishery Harvest Award, one Hainan Province Science and Technology Progress Award, one Zhanjiang City Science and Technology Progress Award, and one Science and Technology Achievement Award of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences.
