Kevin Lemoine carried out his PhD at the Institute of Molecules and Materials of Le Mans (IMMM) in collaboration with Jean-Marie Tarascon from Collège de France (Paris). His work, devoted to new strategies for developing fluorinated iron-based materials as positive electrodes for Li-ion batteries, was awarded the “René Dabard” and Le Mans University thesis prizes. In 2020, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Inaguma group at Gakushuin University (Tokyo, Japan), with research activity on the elaboration of fluorinated materials stabilized under high pressure, and was awarded the JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) Postdoctoral Fellowship for Overseas Researchers. He joined, in 2022, the Fluorinated Materials and Fluorination (MF2) team at the Clermont-Ferrand Chemistry Institute (ICCF) as a CNRS researcher, working on the utilization of several fluorination agents and the stabilization of new inorganic fluorinated compounds.
