Dr. Chara Papoutsi is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Primary Education of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a B.A. in Primary Education, an M.Ed. in Applied Pedagogy: Teaching Programs and Curriculum Design (NKUA), and a Ph.D. in Detection and Development of Emotional Intelligence through ICT (University of the Aegean). Her research interests focus on emotional intelligence in general and special education, leadership, empathy, social-emotional learning as well as its development through STEM education and digital technologies such as serious games, artificial emotional intelligence, and social robots. She has participated in European research projects and teaches in a postgraduate program. She has published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals.
