Prof. Dr. Sabina Kędzierska-Mieszkowska

Sabina Kędzierska-Mieszkowska earned an Msc in Biology in 1991 from the University of Gdańsk (UG), Faculty of Biology, Geography and Oceanology; a PhD in 1996 from UG, Faculty of Biology, Geography and Oceanology; and a Habilitation qualification (Biology) in 2007 from UG, Faculty of Biology. Kędzierska-Mieszkowska’s academic and professional appointments include Research Assistant, UG, Faculty of Biology, Geography and Oceanology, Department of Biochemistry (1990-10-01 to 1992-06-30); Research Assistant, UG, Faculty of Biology, Geography and Oceanology, Department of Biochemistry (1992-07-01 to 1996-04-30); Adjunct, UG, Faculty of Biology, Geography and Oceanology, Department of Biochemistry (1996-05-01 to 2007-04-12); Adjunct (dr hab.) UG, Faulty of Biology, Geography and Oceanology/Faculty of Biology, Department of Biochemistry (2007-04-13 to 2012-10-31); and Associate Professor, UG, Faculty of Biology, Department of Biochemistry/Department of General and Medical Biochemistry (2012-11-01 to present). She has also completed postdoctoral training in the Department of Biochemistry at Kansas State University, USA, as well as biochemistry and biomedical research internships in England (University of Nottingham and University of Bradford, respectively).
