Prof. Dr. Zhongkai Yi graduated from Tsinghua University with a Ph.D. in electrical engineering in 2021. He is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Advisor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China. He is mainly engaged in research on machine learning and optimization theory in the field of power systems and operation control in virtual power plants. He serves as an editorial board member of IET Renewable Power Generation. He received the ICGEPS Excellent Paper Award in 2023.
